Fetish
by Stanley Noah

Can any object be
a fetish?  The girls
in high school, back

in the day, would
paint their toe nails,
slipped off shoes on

hot days.  I stared with
bluelight.  And like a
flash it became a memory.

So you now know what
to do, what to bring,
once we're behind closed

doors.  It turns me on,
you know, just that
little extra effort brings

a force, just you and me,
you and me, in dim light,
moving like serendipity.
