Teapots About
by KJ

She cut the foggy future out of my
dustbin brain with one kiss on the ear
right before her pulpy tongue wormed
cozily into my ear & softly whispered
in resounding, orotund, velvet vibrato:

"i must have skies, & gulls, & suns & sand with you.
i want to see you perfect & splashed frivolously onto an erotic, tan canvas.
my strokes will relax you into blue, liquid mush & you'll be a background
from my diving brush
as your irises shrink when you gasp at how I've sucked the white from your
clouds."

that's when I asked for her confession:
"How much to hear the lie that you're a Virgin?"

She told it freely: this lie enchained as her one forfeiture...
because I paid her in Good Heavens to sit for portraiture.
