Thoughts On A Memory
by Rubie A. Tewesday
I drank sweet wine from her precious lips
I got lost in the touch of her fingertips.
I was tempted by the magic of the look in her eyes,
I cherished her blindly for the sake of her sighs.
I burned with my passion for the feel of her touch.
I ached deep inside when our pleasures touched.
I long for these moments-
too far and too few
My lover, my madness- I've shared this with you.
Hush, my sweet angel, when I look in your eyes.
It saddens my heart to whisper good-bye.
We close now the doors that once we passed through
For ever in my heart, the memory of you.
