A map of you

With my fingertips
and the tips of my lips
I’m sketching out a map
of you
passing around the gap
between your torso and your arms
I drift down stream
my gift the hour of the now
sailing through the showers of your hair
canoeing
the labyrinths of motions bare
and dormant oceans
awakening
I take a snapshot of your soul
in the whirlpools of your pupils
with mine
leaving the universe behind
to spin
as I explore all of your skin plateaux and the hills
your world
standing still
in the effervescent passage of this flight
my world
standing still
in the abyss of holding tight
