The sweltering heat of late August hung heavy over the city. The university avenues, usually bustling, lay mired in an eternal slumber. Nicholas, a tenured professor of Comparative Literature, was desperately seeking a break from his routine. For days, he had been trapped between reviewing course syllabi and the monotony of his lonely apartment.

That Friday night, driven by an unusual impulse and a strong desire to lose himself in the city, he decided to leave the academic district behind and drive to the industrial area. There, behind a neon sign, stood El Terciopelo, a low-key nightclub with a stifling atmosphere.

Nicholas walked through the door and was engulfed by the dim light. The air smelled of perfume, beer, and tobacco. He settled into a barstool at the far end of the bar, ordering a double whiskey on the rocks. As the liquor burned his throat, his eyes adjusted to the faint red lighting that bathed the main stage.

Music began to throb from the speakers. An exotic dancer stepped into the center of the dance floor. She wore a black lace lingerie set that contrasted with her skin. When she spun on her heels and a spotlight shone directly on her face, Nicholas felt the air freeze in his lungs. It was Selena.

She had been his student two years earlier. He remembered her sharp wit perfectly in debates about Romanticism, her brilliant contributions, and that defiant gaze from the third row. She was now twenty-four years old, had graduated with honors, and moved with hypnotic sensuality across the stage. There was no trace of shyness in her, and she commanded the space with absolute confidence, unfastening the straps of her corset while the audience held its breath.

Nicholas tried to look away, feeling overwhelmed, but the attraction was a physical force he found overwhelming. Selena finished her number, and as she picked up her silk robe from the floor, her eyes swept across the bar until they settled directly on him. There was no startlement on her face; instead, a smile curved her lips.

Without breaking eye contact, Selena walked over to a waiter, whispered something in his ear, and pointed to the professor’s table. Minutes later, the waiter approached Nicholas:

“The young lady asks if you’d like to accompany her to a private room, sir,” the waiter asked him.

Nicholas hesitated for a second, clutching his whiskey glass between his fingers.

Prudence told him to walk away, but the desire that had taken hold of his being won out. He nodded. And so, he decided he might have a private dance… but what was he thinking? She was a former student… yet his desire only grew.

The private room was a small, carpeted space, lit only by a dim lamp and flanked by a large dark leather sofa. The door closed behind them, muffling the noise. Selena took off her silk robe and let it fall onto a chair. She was left wearing only a skimpy lingerie set.

“Professor Chase,” she said in a warm, sassy voice that sent a jolt of electricity down Nicholas’s spine. “The last thing I expected was to run into you at my workplace,” she added.

“Selena…” Nicholas cleared his throat, trying to regain the composure that was slipping through his fingers. “I didn’t know you worked here. I just came by for a drink… if this makes you uncomfortable, I can leave right away.” Although he’d already decided to have that dance…

Selena approached him slowly, marking each step with the sway of her hips. She stopped just inches from his chest. The heat of his body was palpable.

“Make me uncomfortable? Not at all,” she replied, lifting her face to look him in the eyes. “I’m not your student anymore, Nicholas. I graduated. And I always wondered what you’d look like without that serious tie,” she said, and then she smiled.

Before he could form a reply, Selena placed her hands on the professor’s shoulders and gently pushed him so he would sit down on the sofa. The music from outside set the rhythm. Selena straddled him. He held his breath.

The tension that had built up over years of exchanged glances in college classrooms exploded in the confined space of the room. Nicholas placed his hands on Selena’s hips; the young woman’s skin was soft. He felt like he was going crazy. She danced on top of him, but not as she normally would, for there was a kind of intimacy that only existed when two people felt attracted to each other.

She tilted her head and sought his lips. It was a hungry kiss, slow at first, that quickly turned into a storm of tongues dancing with passion and ragged breaths. Nicholas buried his fingers in Selena’s hair, pulling her closer to him, forgetting everything.

Selena deftly unbuttoned Nicholas’s shirt, caressing the professor’s chest as she left a trail of wet kisses down his neck until she reached his collarbone. He moaned softly, surrendering completely to the pleasure. Nicholas’s hands roamed over Selena’s bare back, sliding down the curve of her waist until they untied the lace that covered her hips.

They kissed more deeply, while he continued to touch her, leaving nothing to chance.

Both were now naked and eager to move on to the next level of pleasure. He let a finger explore her crotch, making her open her mouth, but without making a sound—not yet… Selena rose above him for a moment, gazing at him with satisfaction. Nicholas gripped her thighs and guided her downward, where she, understanding the message, took his member into her mouth. There, she sucked eagerly, causing him to let out a soft moan.

Selena moved her head up and down along that hard cock, which grew with every new lick. Nicholas took her by the head and guided her faster and faster, while she tried to suck and take the cock as deep as possible without gagging. Nicholas didn’t want to come yet, so he pushed her toward the couch—though it wasn’t really necessary, since she was ready for it.

The rhythm started slow, a sensual dance where every movement sought to explore the other deeply. Selena rested her hands on the back of the sofa, arching her back as Nicholas positioned himself behind her. He penetrated her, Nicholas accompanying each of his thrusts by lifting his hips, losing himself in the sight of her face transfigured by ecstasy, as she turned her head to look at him, so that he could see the pleasure on her face.

The friction was intense, electric. Selena’s moans echoed off the walls, mingling with Nicholas’s ragged breathing. He changed positions, gently turning her so she was facing him. He mounted her, penetrating her more deeply as his hands roamed over the young woman’s breasts, whose nipples were erect with arousal.

“Nicholas… faster,” she whispered into her former teacher’s ear, digging her nails into his back.

The teacher obeyed, increasing the pace of his thrusts. The outside world ceased to exist; all that mattered was the touch of sweaty skin, the urgency driving them on, and the stifling heat of late August. Each thrust sent waves of pleasure that brought them closer to the edge. Selena wrapped her legs around Nicholas’s waist, pulling him tight against her so as not to miss a single moment.

The climax hit them together, like an explosion, one the professor hadn’t expected. Selena stifled a cry against Nicholas’s shoulder as a series of muscle spasms coursed through her entire body. Seconds later, he came inside her with a muffled moan, collapsing onto her chest as their racing hearts beat in unison.

They remained embraced on the sofa for a long while, feeling the heat of their bodies slowly subsides and their breathing steady. The silence between them was no longer awkward.

Selena was the first to move. She sat up slowly, picked up her robe, and wrapped it around herself. She smoothed her hair in front of the mirror in the private room before turning to look at Nicholas, who was slowly buttoning his shirt.

“Thanks for stopping by, Professor,” she said with a tender smile, without a trace of boldness, regaining her cool demeanor.

“Thank you, Selena,” he replied, stepping closer to give her a gentle kiss on the cheek.

“It’s been… unforgettable.”

Nicholas left a generous stack of bills on the side table—not as payment for a service, but as a silent acknowledgment of a night that would shatter the monotony of his life forever. She nodded, accepting the gesture with elegance.

As they stepped out onto the street, the late-August night air was beginning to feel slightly cool, hinting at the imminent arrival of fall. Nicholas walked toward his car with an unfamiliar sense of lightness in his chest. Classes would start in a couple of weeks, but he knew that this summer would never fade from his memory...
