Feast of Love and Gratitude

The golden light of autumn’s day
Fills every corner, warm and slow,
As hands in touch, a gentle sway,
We share the feast, and love grows more.
The turkey’s skin, a caramel glow,
The pumpkin pie, sweet as the moon,
The cranberry’s crimson, deep and slow,
A feast for senses, rich and true.
Your breath, a whisper in the air,
Like cinnamon in winter’s breath,
The way you lean, the way you care,
Makes every bite a tender feast.
The table’s edge, where fingers meet,
A silent promise, warm and deep,
The stories we’ve shared, the ones yet to be told,
Are woven in the threads of love we keep.
So here we sit, in this season’s embrace,
With gratitude and desire intertwined,
The harvest’s bounty, and the heart’s embrace,
A love that’s as rich as any wine.
This is our thanks, this is our feast,
Not just in food, but in the way we are,
In every touch, in every breath,
The most sensual, sacred, and sweetest prayer.
