The first taste of love is like a freshly plucked lychee. All posturing; Trying to hide exuberant expectation. It starts with searching, probing for the subtle opening. A spot to pierce that rough outer barrier, the armour grown in defense of innocence. No thorns yet sprung up from the pangs of time. The shell– once removed, reveals the ripeness of love’s purity. Trickling with the juices of youth and vivacity. Wafting with perfume, overwhelming the senses, invigorating the mind. Arousing an overwhelming need to take a bite.
Ah, Ah, Ah… Not too hard. For the seed, the truth of love, is prominent inside. Hard enough to break a tooth; you must bite the tender fruit ever–so–gently. Enjoy the untainted flesh. Nibble around the base of the unyielding pit, Suck the last milky white morsel away savoring the dynamic floral flavor.
You achingly attempt to abstain in efforts to tamp down on the mounting greed. Eventually the irresistible urge retakes you. Your trembling hand reaches out for another, affections renewed. Engaging in the dance of seduction anew.
